Walking Street is definitely the center of Pattaya nightlife. However, the city’s vibrant and sensational nightlife is not limited to just one street. There are several other districts that cater to tourists looking for food, drink and nightlife entertainment. Go-go bars, dance halls and nightclubs lie all across the beaches of Pattaya city.
There are three Pattayaland streets close to Walking Street, equally well known for their night venues. Each avenue has its own unique style of entertainment and has a little something for everyone. The most famous avenue is, Pattayaland 2 where several Pattaya go-go bars are easily recognized by their brilliant neon signs. It is also home to the Penthouse Hotel that provides accommodation in theme rooms to couples looking for something different.
Pattayaland 3, known simply as Boyz Town, is the highlight for gay Pattaya nightlife, featuring a large variety of gay-only pubs and go-go bars such as the popular Boyz Town. Pattayaland 1 is also a gay oriented area with several gay go-go clubs and a few places designated strictly for lesbian entertainment.
Further north from the famous Walking Street, the most outrageous section of town known as Soi Yodsak or Soi 6 is located. The area is basically well known for its pick up bars and restaurants with nearby Pattaya hotels. Numerous pubs are on offer. We would recommend the King Long Beer Bar, the Dmt's Bar, Route 69, the Blue Hawaii and the King Kong Bar.
For more exotic entertainment, come to see some of the amazing ladyboy cabaret shows. Located along the infamous Second Road of Pattaya City, Alcazar is the best known show. Tiffany's and Malibu also create a very unusual and sensational entertainment for competitive prices. There are around 35 beer bars which start to fill up at about 4pm and remain open until around 1am. The Atlantic Bar is a lively one and always draws a substantial crowd. The entertainers there ensure an exotic and fun night out for everyone.
Central Pattaya has a good selection of less chaotic bars than the major entertainment hub to the south. Soi 7 and Soi 8 are widely known as locations for good, friendly, open air pubs and bars to sit and drink in. There are the usual bar-girls available, but not as much as on Walking Street or Pattayaland venues. Most pubs here are for travelers who just want to relax, have a beer and enjoy a pleasant evening. Over a hundred bars are to be chosen from, such as Siam & Taffy Bar and the Jameson's.
South Pattaya offers a wide selection of bars, go-go bars, nightclubs, discotheques and massage parlors. Pattaya Walking Street is a popular party zone that starts at Soi 13 to Soi 16. Try Lucifer Disko for some Hip Hop fun, or visit Differ Bar for some drinks and live music. Pattaya Beach cabaret shows offer harmless and exotic entertainment suitable for the whole family. Tiffany's is Asia's oldest and possibly most famous Ladyboy cabaret show that is suitable for all ages.
There is also plenty of live music that goes till the early hours. The Hard Rock Café on Beach Rd is a safe bet and try Shenanigan’s on Second Rd or the Jazz Pi, which has music on tap every night of the week. All are excellent places to unwind after a night on the town in Pattaya.
